There is something quietly magical about a seaside cottage garden. It asks
nothing of you except that you slow down and notice. Each morning brings a new
bloom, a different shaft of sunlight, or the gentle hum of a bee going about
its timeless work.
I often find myself lingering among the flowers, camera in hand but in no
hurry to press the shutter. The real pleasure is simply being there—watching
the agapanthus crowns emerge, feeling the warmth of the sun, and listening to the
breeze drifting in from the sea.
Gardens remind us that beauty doesn’t need to be grand to be meaningful.
Sometimes it is found in a single flower, a fleeting visitor gathering nectar,
or a quiet moment that would have passed unnoticed had we not taken the time to
look.
My little seaside cottage garden is full of these moments, and each one is a
gentle reminder that nature’s greatest gift is not perfection, but the peace it
brings to those who pause to appreciate it.
